As an alternative to programming directly on the cutting machine, the FoamCAD software offers a convenient option for creating the cutting programs on an external office PC. The subsequent transfer of the cutting programs to the cutting machine can take place using a USB stick or a network connection, depending on the control.
Various program modules such as DXF import, part editor, program editor, list editor, etc. are available for creating parts and programs.
Parts can be imported directly from DXF files or entered in the parts editor and then processed further.
Functions such as rotating, mirroring, scaling, etc. are available for this.
With the help of the program editor or the flash programming, the contour created with the parts editor can be reproduced.
Once the basic program has been created, the number of parts can simply be adjusted accordingly using horizontal and vertical piece counters
can be optimally adapted to the block size.
Of course, it is also possible to arrange or nest a wide variety of parts in one program.
This can be done with the help of the program editor or the convenience programming.
A special software module for pipe sections and segments is optionally available.
With just a few entries, the complete cutting program for an entire block or, alternatively, just individual pipe sections or segments can be created.
